Kenyan childrenCONCERTS FOR THE CHILDREN OF WEST AFRICA

Saturdays 25 February, 17 March, 21 April and 26 May at 2pm

This series of Saturday afternoon concerts, organized by Colleen Muriel and hosted by All Hallows by the Tower, has at its core the express desire to raise funds for the Friends of Julius and Dora Children's Centre in Maseno, Kenya.

The Centre provides a home for orphaned and abandoned children giving them food, health, education and TLC. It is a stark fact that many of the children currently in the centre would not be alive without the help of the Centre. Faced with the rapidly-growing number of orphans and vulnerable children in the Western Province of Kenya, the Julius and Dora Children's Centre was founded in memory of a Christian couple who fostered many children in their lifetime. The Centre started its operations in April 2008 from rented premises on the outskirts of Kakamega town, and there are plans to build a permanent home for the children at Maseno.

All donations and contributions towards this concert series will be given to support the work of the Children's Centre.
