DESERT JOURNEYS - A LENT BLOG

ASH WEDNESDAY - 1 MARCH
12.30pm: Eucharist
6.00pm: Taizé Service

Take time to mark the start of Lent with this traditional service, including the imposition of ashes. There will also be an opportunity to receive ashes at the Taizé service at 6pm.

PALM SUNDAY - 9 APRIL
11.00am: Sung Eucharist
2.30pm: Stations of the Cross

Our service begins in the gardens of St Dunstan in the East, Idol Lane, EC3 at 11am, from where we will process to All Hallows for the Eucharist. 'Stations of the Cross', a meditation on Christ's journey to Calvary, will take place at 2.30pm.

HOLY WEDNESDAY - 12 Aprillast supper mural
8.30am: Eucharist
6.00pm: Taizé Prayer around the Cross

MAUNDY THURSDAY - 13 April
8.30am: Morning Prayer
1.10pm: Organ Recital
- 'Music for Passiontide'

6.30pm: Liturgy of the Last Supper
with foot washing and stripping of the altars, followed by silent prayer, ending with Compline at 8.45pm

GOOD FRIDAY - 14 April
12 noon: Good Friday Liturgy

with Veneration of the Cross

EASTER DAY - 16 April
11.00am: Festal Eucharist

with Blessing of New Fire and Renewal of Baptismal Vows, followed by an Easter Egg hunt
