Concerts for the Children of West Africa - Saturdays 25 February, 17 March, 21 April, 26 May, all at 2pm
This concert series is being organized by Colleen Muriel and friends to raise funds for the Friends of Julius and Dora Children's Centre in Maseno, Kenya. Admission if free, all donations will be given to support the work of the Children's Centre.
Music for a Sunday Afternoon - 19 February, 2.30pm
A concert of English music for voice, piano and organ with Sasha Leinster and Jonathan Melling. The programme will last approx 45 mins and includes songs by Henry Purcell and Roger Quilter and organ music by John Stanley and Eric Thiman. All are welcome - admission free, donations for the organ fund.
Ash Wednesday Service - Wednesday 22 February, 12.30pm
We begin Lent with a special time of worship and reflection in this Eucharist with the imposition of ashes. There will also be an opportunity for ashing during the Taize service at 6pm.
All Hallows Quiz Evening - Saturday 17 March, 7pm
Enjoy fairly-traded wine and a buffet supper and test your knowledge in our quiz, with prizes and your team’s honour at stake. Tickets cost £10 per person, available from Martin in the church office.
Grinling Gibbons Font Cover
Our font cover is now on loan to Tate Britain until 6 May 2012 for their latest exhibition on The Protestant Church, featuring protestant iconography and the decoration of Anglican churches in the period 1660 until the 18th century.
